A prayer to Ganesha
A prayer to Ganesha Yes, you were the chosen one... I chose you— Before you even knew. The universe lives within me... Do you believe? Who am I? Am I a myth? I deserve you—whole. Mind, body, soul. In my heart is a hole, It bleeds like a scroll You sealed with your lips, So I could breathe longer, Grow stronger, Smile brighter. And so I thought of returning to you With the secret treasures Of my mind, body, soul. You got overwhelmed. It was too much— My love, time, energy, My health, my wealth—of every sort. You couldn’t digest it. So you planned to run With the little treasure you could hold. New paths you found, New windows opened... And now I’m useless, Unwanted. In my heart—two holes. They bleed a lot. Who will help now, I wonder? And the memories, Good or bad, That just make it difficult to move on, Without being sad. Sad to not forget the pain, Sad to remember the loss in vain. Some want it quick. Some want it late. All of them, weaving sin into fate. Dead, broken hearts, Bleeding...
